It stands out. The moment you are on the Express Way and driving towards the Keshari Plaza, you will see a magnanimous black hoarding that says The Royale. The look of the board is enough to convey that the restaurant means luxury and comfort dining. Not the only place to dine in Noida where you can enjoy your meal in peace but this restaurant comes with its perks.
Let me tell you how.
Indian, continental, oriental…when you get all the cuisines, sometimes it can be a reason for your dismay. There is every chance that the restaurant might not be able to focus on uniformity of taste and flavours and authenticity on all the dishes. However, this is where The Royale strikes its USP.
The Indian cuisine is the gem on the crown. From non-vegetarian to vegetarian, the spice content and its originality are maintained. You don’t get bogged down by the heaviness of the ingredients, rather there is a great effort being put to overwhelm the customers with the flavours.
Not just the taste part, but the ambience also takes a pleasurable toll on you.
This restaurant provides breathing space to its customers. There is a huge space for strolling around and a big window at the end which showcases the biggest brick oven you will ever lay your eyes on.
The varieties of Pizza that come out of this oven is awesomely crisp, of thin crust and cheesy. They don’t just serve the regular Farm House or Cheese pizza, you get to have the Bombay flavours and also the BBQ flavours. Unconventional right?
Special mention may also be made of this restaurant for giving a happy time to its little customers. If you are someone looking for a kid-friendly restaurant because when we have kids, we really think if a particular restaurant food will suit our kids or if they will be able to eat the same food with us. In Royale, you don’t have to worry about it.
The guarantee comes as a result of my own experience. I went to experience the restaurant with my 7-year-old son and luckily, the food he ate was customised to suit his palate. So, my son loved the Three Pepper Pizza, Chicken Chive and Ginger Dim Sum served with Oreo Smoothie.
One recommendation in the starters is, try the Batter Fried Mushroom in butter garlic, its the perfect accompaniment if you like something spicy with your wine, cocktail or mocktail or even whisky.
For the main course, I will recommend Murg Matka if you the chicken person. Otherwise, the paneer dishes and the Dal Makhani taken with Naan will fill you up pleasantly.
The restaurant also has some amazing Biryani varieties. Awadhi being one of them. Unfortunately, these have to be ordered a day ahead or a couple of hours ahead so they can provide the authenticity in its flavours so I didn’t get to taste them.
The Bar of this restaurant pretty much serve everything. They even have a fruity and spice-laden Mocktail Sangria.
In my last words for the restaurant, I will shed some light on the man behind the machine.
Chef Manoj Deo is the Executive Chef of The Royale. As a customer, I loved the way he gives his personal attention to every table. He makes sure that he gets the feedback from his customers and implement for any improvement since it’s only been a month since the restaurant has opened.
He is not just a flavour guy, he is enterprising as well.
He has been in the food industry for about twenty years, and he has had his expertise in different cuisines, new techniques and food trends. Over the years, he has worked with Indian, Continental, Italian, English, Pan-Asian, French cuisines, along with Airlines catering, hospitals and special dietary requirements.
In fact, in 2006, was part of the team of chefs for the 80th birthday celebration of HRM Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
Given the credentials of the man behind this machine, The Royale Lounge and Bar indeed has a great beginning and will go a long way to create cherishing food memories for its customers.
